Mr.Hüseyin Budak, General Manager of Reform Sünger: Rebounded foam is an ideal material for the comfort and ergonomy of the mattresses.
We have recently interviewed Mr.Hüseyin Budak, General Manager of Reform Sünger. Excerpts:
Could you brief us on the activities of Reform Sünger?
Reform Sünger has been producing rebounded foam (Bondex) within an area of 13,500 square meters, 6,500 square meters of which is a covered area. Reform Sünger has been able to produce basic raw materials and inputs for diverse range of industries, including mattress and home furniture industry, automotive industry. The plant has a daily capacity of 500 cubic meters bounded foam and 8 tons of wastage recycling and processing.
Established as of February 2013, our company has been growing dynamically, by increasing its production capacity by 40%, machinery by 20%.
Our company has been able to produce under a licence in line with the environmental regulations and practices within a short period of time.
Could you mention about your production range directed to the mattress sector?
We are able to produce diverse range of bounded foam for the mattress industry.
We also put emphasis on the R&D activities to diversify our products and production capacity. Our technical works are underway to produce innovative foam products under the brand name of “viscobondex.”
How do you evaluate the year 2013 from the standpoint of your activities? What are your major prospects for 2014?
Actually, the year 2013 has turned out to be a year of dynamism and success for us.
Reform Sünger has exceeded its 2013 targets in terms of production and sale volume.
As for 2014, we are planning to increase our production volume by 20% in line with the growing demand, thereby becoming a leader company in rebounded foam production.
Do you have anything to add to your explanations?
Actually, rebounded foam, being an ergonomic and competitive material for the mattress industry has made its presence felt in the mattress sector more than ever before. Reform Sünger is always ready to play its part by producing innovative products for the sector, based on the R&D works underway.
