On services offered to bed manufacturers
We produce solvent based and hot-melt adhesives for bed producers. Since it has serious hazards on health the use and production of solvent based adhesives are strictly controlled or even prohibited in some countries. Turkey will follow suit soon. So, we prefer hot-melt adhesives, and increase its share in our sales. PSA kind of hotmelt adhesives are mostly preferred by mattress producers. Pocked spring producers demand special kind of adhesives from our company.
Importance of adhesives for beds
Adhesives are a major element for assembly of mattresses. Parts of the products should be combined by using quality adhesives. We are trying to develop the best adhesives for our customers. Development staff in our company is highly valuable from this point. We try to improve application process, to reduce waste, and to increase the strength of adhesives.
On exports
Arabian peninsula, Middle East, Iran Russia and most of nort African countries are our major markets. We deliver half of our monthly production of 200 tons solvent-based foam glues, and 60 tons of PSA hot-melt glues.
On last year’s performance
2014 was highly fruitful. We added many profitable customers in our buyer list. We signed several contracts for distributorship in foreign markets. We even got new buyers in Istanbul and in Turkey. Sales in Istanbul accounts for a large share in domestic sales. We were highly successful in 2014 both from the supply and competitive point of view.
On new machinery
Our production capacities for certain items have began to inadequate so we decided to expand capacities. Assembly of new machinery has almost been finished. With additional marketing efforts, we want to improve our position in the market.
