A STRONG FILLING TECHNOLOGY PARTNER MASIAS has been dealing with polyester fibres treatment processes over decades and since 1941 has been acquiring an extensive and permanent knowledge of this filling material, discovering its problems and being aware of the new arising developments and trends (like the microfibers for example).

Every new equipment creation at MASIAS is always focused on obtaining an optimum result with the polyester fibres and on improving the possibility in most of the cases to manage a
different and wide range of raw materials with the same unit. FINE OPENERS MASIAS openers are guaranteeing an optimum opening degree of any type of polyester fibres used and thus a maximum volume of the fibres for a given weight of fibres. The reached opening quality enables manufacturers
to make important savings in raw materials over the years and to give a better and constant quality to their finished products.

FIBRE BALLS MACHINES MASIAS developed two different fibre balls solutions to respond to any particular demand in the market.
*The CMM ball forming machine offers to bedding manufacturers an optimum quality and resistance of the balls produced with HCS polyester fibres, enabling the control of the balls size and hardness according to their own customers and market. Our company label on the obtained fibre balls is that there are washing resistant.
*The BOLCARD is more focused on companies which are looking for a versatile balls machine to work with a wide range of fibres. The BOLCARD can work with man-made fibres like polyester HCS fibres and microfibers and natural fibres like wool, cashmere, silk…

NON-WOVENS CARDING
MASIAS can provide complete carding non-woven lines.

The aim of MASIAS’ Direct Feeding Line
S.A.D. is to increase the quilting machine production efficiency and avoid the use of ready-made thermo-treated wadding rolls that involve important factory space and manpower. This system enables to form a regular and homogeneous pad from opened polyester fibres with the desired filling weight and to feed this pad directly to the quilting machine, making the process shorter, more compact, flexible and productive. The range of raw materials compatible with MASIAS’s S.A.D. is wide: from standard polyester fibres, microfibers, recycled or natural fibres to foam chips or blendings between them. The Direct Feeding System can be used not only for mattress panels’ production but also
for quilts, comforters or felts applications
with different lines combinations.

ULTRA-SONIC WELDING SYSTEM Direct Feeding System with Ultra-sonic Welding System SAD-300/MF-USW LINE OF PAD ROLLS WITH RAW POLYESTER FIBRE TO PRODUCE YOUR OWN POLYESTER FIBRE FILL ROLLS

This is a compact line to produce fibre filling pad in rolls for polyester, natural blend of fibres without using any chemical or heating process. This system can substitute perfectly the traditional wadding rolls in the quilting lines.
The Direct Feeding System with Ultra- Sonic Welding System SAD-300/MF-USW has been specially designed for quilts production and improved to be able to feed not only multi-needle but also
single and double-head quilting machines.

This new technology consists of a pad forming with TNT fabrics and ultra-sonic welding process. This new line is equipped with longitudinal & transversal cutting devices and/or winding unit at the end. Composed of:

HOW TO CONVERT QUILTED SCRAPS OR FOAM WASTES INTO VALUABLE FILLING
MATERIALS RECYCLING AND MATTRESS QUILTING PANEL WASTE
In recent times, MASIAS has designed machines to defiber and/or recycle all kinds of needle-punched materials, felts, non-woven fabrics, foam and other waste material resulting from the production of quilts, bedcovers and mattresses. The obtained defibered material, thanks to an optimum fibre reopening, can be blended to different materials and then reprocessed in different production lines like: mattress panels, felts, non-woven products, cushions or upholstery. Therefore, the production costs can be lowered considerably. MASIAS has also developed a compact blending line to produce quilted panels and/or cushions from natural or synthetic
fibers and/or recycled waste from quilted production and/or cut foam.
With MASIAS’s high -performance blending accumulator, it is now possible for pillows, sofa or mattress suppliers to control efficiently the desired quantity of up to 3 different filling materials (for example, foam, polyester fibres and recycled fibres) and to fill with this new mixed material mattress panels, upholstery cushions or pillows.
