Kozmos Tesktil; “The US market is our top priority market”

Kozmos Tekstil Board Member Selim Özdemir answered the questions about his company before the ISPA EXPO Fair, which is planned to be held on 08-10 March 2022 and which they will also attend.

Özdemir stating that Kozmos Tekstil and the companies producing for the mattress sector have high expectations from the ISPA EXPO 2022 Fair, first drew attention to the fact that the previously canceled fairs could not be held due to Covid-19.

Özdemir stated that companies have difficulties in opening up to new markets due to canceled fairs and that this gap is tried to be filled through old connections or online meetings, but it is not enough expressed that ISPA EXPO 2022 is a very good opportunity for the Turkish bedding sector to express itself and exhibit its products, especially for Kozmos Tekstil.

Underlining that they have a good capacity and quality in knitted fabrics, bed-sofa covers and visco pillows, Özdemir stated that the US market is their top priority and that they aim to reach potential customers at the ISPA Fair, and they do their work and center of gravity according to the US market.

The manager of Kozmos Tekstil mentioning the freight crisis in China and the political tension between the two countries, stated that these two issues have developed positively for our country and that a very serious increase is expected in the exports of the Turkish bedding sector to the USA.

Referring to the fairs that were canceled due to the pandemic, Selim Özdemir finally said; “Fairs are the showcase of our companies. They are very important platforms in order to showcase our products and talents we did. There is no doubt that it has a very serious contribution to our country’s exports. Of course, in order to get a positive contribution from these fairs, our companies should be able to make their potential customers feel their products, quality and reliability. Otherwise, it will be difficult to get positive feedback.”
