Selim Özdemir, Member of the Board of Kozmos Tekstil, shared with Sleeptech the things that are wondered about many topics from branding to exports, from innovation to new investments.
Selim Özdemir, underlining e-commerce and online platforms in his interview with our magazine, said as follows in the interview on exports; “We are exporting to more than 30 countries in total. We provide this range from online platforms and our relationships. About customer satisfaction, we are acting with the motto that every customer is very valuable to us. We set high quality standards and make sure to strictly follow them.”
Mr. Selim, can you tell us about your branding process?
Although we are an old and well-established company as Kozmos, we have been working on e-commerce since 2014. Since then, we have been performing our sales with brands both in Turkey (Orange, Venue and Renkrenk) and in America (Ambesonne) and Europe (Abakuhaus)
We know that you also have an office in Boston, USA. You have recently appeared at the ISPA Expo 2022 Fair. How did you create these trade relations with the USA? How did the development process of these relationships work?
We are following the American market very closely. We closely follow the habits and trends of the people living there. Because we are making online sales, our target audience is actually the whole of America. As such, you need to think and analyze as a whole. We ensure the development of our relations by following the trends closely, without causing any deficiencies in these topics. Otherwise, unfortunately, it is not possible to progress.
How many countries do you export to in total? How did you make this export range and customer satisfaction?
We are making exportation to more than 30 countries in total. We provide this range from online platforms and our relationships. About customer satisfaction, we are acting with the motto that every customer is very valuable to us. We set high quality standards and are literally careful to comply with them
Can you mention the innovative methods and R&D studies you use in your products?
We are making improvements in our products both in line with the demands of our customers and with the work of our R&D team. Again, we follow the trends in this regard.
Do you have showrooms or stores abroad? If so, will there be new ones?
As you just mentioned, we have an office in America and a warehouse in Germany. Our studies are being continued for new places.
Will you have new investments in the mattress sector in the forthcoming terms?
The mattress sector is a sector that we intend to grow. We have new investment plans in this area. I hope we will implement it.
