Ketenoglu widens product range

On Ketenoglu

I found it in 1996 as a small producer of knitted collars for other manufacturers. Then we began to produce rounded fabrics and from 2004 onward we expanded our portfolio more. In 2011 we began to knit fabrics for mattress manufacturers and to export them. Recently, we serve our customers in mattress industry with our double jersey machinery.

Our products are made of polyester and/or viscos yarns depending on the choices of our customer. Technically all kinds of yarns can be knitted on our machinery.

On products and their functions

With our interlock, ribana, collar and open-end knitting looms, we produce for other companies backed by our experiences and knowledge in the industry and in the market. We bought 16 machinery for mattress fabric production all are Monarch brand of 2012 and 2013 models. Most of our production is delivered in Turkey, some of them are exported.

On import and exports

We adjust them up to the economic conjuncture. Some of our inputs comes from domestic sources some are imported. Exports are important for us. We know how difficult to get a customer and how easy to loose them.

How was the year 2013 and prospects for 2014?

It was a growth year for us. We increased our capacity and expanded product range. Besides, we moved to a more efficient location by uniting our two facilities. We keep our investments in 2014 as well and begin to gather the fruits of our investments. Capacity utilization was about 100 percent, that this will be also possible in 2014.
