Deslee Clama wins three awards at Interzum this year!

Deslee Clama, one of the leading mattress-ticking fabric producers worldwide, offers different alternatives with almost 600 designs annually. Pointing out that they would launch new product to the market, Cuneyt Kapakli, Middle East Sales Manager of the company, said that they won three awards from Interzum this year with their newly launched products. Kapakli detailed that they even received award for their distinct booth design and that the visitors to their stand at Interzum would find good surprises. Biaxial

The bedding industry increasingly pays attention to ergonomics. Manufacturers are investigating how they can optimize their beds and mattresses to provide the best back support and pressure relief for the sleeper. But there is no point having a great ergonomic mattress core that perfectly yields and supports, if the mattress fabric doesn’t follow suit.Biaxial is a new generation of knitted mattress fabrics that maximally follows the flexibility of the mattress core. It boasts superior point elasticity and stretches up to 50% in both directions. The fabric recovers completely from pressure. So even when a person sleeps on it for years on end, Biaxial will still revert to its original shape. If we say our Biaxial mattress fabrics excel in back support, we need to back up this claim with evidence. To do so, we joined forces with the Ergonomie Institut in Munich to measure localized elasticity and body support in our mattress system. These properties together determine the ergonomic quality of our fabrics and also the hotly debated point elasticity. Our Biaxial product range performed superbly on each of the aspects above.

DC Metamorphosis

Versatile double-sided knit 3D fabrics that transform your walls and release your creativity. Deslee Clama’s booth at Interzum 2015 will be a head turner. We used our innovative DC Metamorphosis “Soft Pebble” fabric to turn our stand into a serene haven of sleeping solutions. The walls are smoothly covered with a 4.5 m high double-sided knit upholstery fabric with a soothing 3D pebble design. Thanks to the stretch of our DC Metamorphosis fabric, it snugly fits around the irregular curves and shapes of our booth. “Soft Pebble” effortlessly hugs any shape without even a seam, a stitch or a fold. It also demonstrates the variety of designs and colors that we can produce on our jacquard knitting machine. And its price is extremely competitive for the quality it delivers. DC Metamorphosis fabrics are not only beautiful to look at. They are also easy to work with. Walls are covered in no time, but the fabric can just as swiftly take down again to be reused. It has a small volume, which makes the fabric easy to store and transport. Last but not least, the “Soft Pebble” fabric used at Interzum 2015 fully complies with all standards and norms regarding fire safety and sustainability

Some styles are more popular in specific regions whereas others target a particular market segment. All styles together cover the entire marketplace.
