Established five years ago in Sakarya, IMS Machinery company manufactured Turkey’s first flange machinery for mattress factories. As a solution centered and innovative company, patents of the machinery have been registered, says Murat Toprlak, general manager of the company. He informed about his company and export activities:
On IMS Machinery
Being in business since 1995, IMS company was established in 2009 in Sakarya. It has been serving as trader, servicer and spare parts supplier on machinery used in mattress, coach, leather and readymade clothing industries.
On the first flange machinery in Turkey
Overlock machinery for mattress manufacturers is the first in Turkey. It is somehow different from its peers used in other countries. Parts do not contact with each other and it is economical machinery. Since there is no friction between parts, pads of every thickness, thin, medium or thick, can be sawn with great precision. It has also an aesthetic outlook and we patent it.
On R&D activities
We have a team of experts having high level of technical capacity in our company. They all strive to solve problems of operators and make their work facilitated and more efficient. They are also work on the develop-ment of a robot system that will be launched in the future.
On export markets
We are already successful in our field. However, we are ready for export operations professionally. Mattress manufacturers are watching our activities. We want to produce differentiated products for the industry.
