fabrics for mattress in Bursa. We have become one of the leading companies in our field. Now we aimed to open up to world markets,” says Ilyas Saltan, founder-partner and manager of Histeks. He introduces his company belowOn Histeks company
At the beginning we were producing jacquard and armored fabrics for mattress cover. Later on we added revolving knitting machinery in our machine inventory. Developing the quality in production, we are now able to produce 5 million sqm of fabrics both for domestic and export markets.
On products of the company
Our products are made of polyester, polypropylene, cotton and viscon yarns. Yarn preparation, looming, finishing and quality control are basic phases of the production process. On demand of our customers fabrics can be subjected to various additional treatments such as water repellant, non-flammable, anti-bacterial and anti-odor finishing. Size and weight of the fabrics may vary depending on the orders.
On investments
We want to upgrade our machinery and to acquire new looming and knitting machinery to expand our product portfolio.
On the fabric industry in the world
There are lots of companies in Turkey. They meet most of the domestic demand. Belgium comes first in the production of bed fabrics. China, Canada, USA and Spain are other countries to be mentioned. Turkish made products are gaining share in export markets as well.
