Erplast: We want to keep up the success, which we achieved in Europe, in India as well.

Fatih Okumuşer, Chairman of the Board of Erplast, said, in his interview before the India Mattresstech Fair, that they want to experience the same export success they succeeded in the European market, in the Indian market and in the surrounding countries.

Fatih Okumuser, stating that India Mattrestech Fair will be the first fair they will attend in 2023, said the following in his prediction about the effect of the fair on Erplast’s exports; “We aim to capture the potential in India and the surrounding countries due to this fair, and increase our exports, which is in a momentum, to a little higher. In this context, we hope that we will see this fair as a new door for ourselves and accordingly develop our exports and potential upwards.”

What are your expectations from India Mattresstech Fair?

As Erplast, we have decided to improve ourselves a little more in terms of exports last year and this year 2023. In this context, we started to participate in fairs last year. Apart from IBIA EXPO 2022, which was the first fair we attended, we chose India Mattresstech 2023 as the first fair of this year. Our expectation from here is to add additional regions and new customers to our previously acquired export customers, introduce our products to large masses, and represent our company and our country more effectively in new markets. We want to effectively reflect our quality and production potential in export and sales in new geographies by introducing our products.

How did you prepare for the fair as Erplast? Can you mention your collections that will be showcased at the fair?

We, as Erplast, want to exhibit our mattress packaging products that we are currently producing for the domestic and European market. We want to capture the success we have achieved with these products in this market as well. We aim to exhibit the samples we have prepared for this at the fair and take the same reaction, which we received in other regions, from here.

What effect will the fair have on Erplast exports? Can we get your predictions?

We aim to capture the potential in India and the surrounding countries due to this fair, and increase our exports, which is in a momentum, to a little higher. In this context, we hope that we will see this fair as a new door for ourselves and accordingly develop our exports and potential upwards.

What kind of impact do you expect the exhibition to have on the Turkish mattress components industry?

Since our country is already ahead in the mattress industry, I think it will show this in different regions with this fair. We hope that this fair will contribute to our exports in new regions as well. I hope this will be a fair that will meet our expectations and it will contribute to us and our other stakeholders in taking our country’s mattress industry to a higher level. Each new fair, each new region will contribute to us and the producer of our country.
