Comfytex; “USA market is the most important market after Europe”

Comfytex General Manager Recep Kezik, in his interview with Sleeptech magazine before ISPA EXPO 2022 Fair, emphasized the importance of the fair both for the mattress sector and for Turkey’s exports.

Kezik, stating that ISPA has a special importance as it is an event that brings together the actors of the mattress sector around the world, said that ISPA will largely fill the gap of the fairs that were canceled due to the pandemic. Kezik said “We, as Comfytex, intend to make the necessary supply by communicating with potential customers face-to-face and listening to their demands very well through the ISPA fair, bringing together all the stakeholders of the sector. In this way, we will be able to meet with new customers and it will be possible for us to express ourselves better in the market. Besides, the USA is one of the most important markets for us, especially after Europe, in terms of its geopolitical position and economy.”

Kezik, noting that Turkey has drawn a rising graph in exports despite the pandemic conditions, added “According to this table, I am sure that the companies that will come together after the 2 years delayed meeting will raise the level much higher after the warm contact. I think ISPA EXPO is one of the fairs where we will become more popular in terms of size, quality and quality.”

At the end of his interview, Comfytex General Manager also mentioned the importance of ISPA EXPO 2022 Fair for Turkey’s exports and pointed to the concept of ‘warm contact’ in the fair mentality.

Recep Kezik, who stated that face-to-face meeting is essential in meeting with the first customer, gave concluded his interview “Although we continue to work with existing customers as a country, fairs have always been beneficial in terms of expressing ourselves to our potential customers who will know us better about how much we dominate the sector. It is a great opportunity for us to show in 2 days how we are dealing with the sector as a country to the firms that it will take days and weeks to reach one by one.”
