• Debut of Swedish Pavilion, strong return of Turkish pavilion and Canada Wood Pavilion
• Extended to five days event will host key industry players full force Manufacturers and suppliers with plans to exhibit at CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2014 but have yet to stake their booths will have to wait as space at Asia’s largest and most comprehensive woodworking machinery, furniture production and interior design trade show run out months before. Set to open on March 28 in China, CIFM / interzum guangzhou will be extended from four days in the past to five and continue to be held alongside the prestigious China International Furniture Fair (CIFF). Total exhibition area will reach 130,000 square meters, across Area B and Area C of the Pazhou Complex venue. Over 1,100 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, nine overseas pavilions and more than 60,000 professional visitors from over 140 countries and regions will be expected to join the landmark event of the industry. This edition has no lack of long-term enthusiastic support of international brands, such as Homag, IMA, SCM, FGV, Titus, Cyber Lock, Okin Refined, Boyteks Tekstil, Bekaert, Latexco, Deslee Clama, H.B. Fuller, Schattdecor, Rehau, Hanstar, Internet Wood Glue, Zhulian, Repon and Xinyada (random). Coming into the mix to up the show’s offerings are a slew of new exhibitors including Wood-Mizer from Poland, Lion Rock Group from the U.K., Tuoch from the U.S. and ICA from Italy. The country pavilion lineup looks strong, boasting major wood and quality furniture accessories exporting nations with the likes of Germany, USA / Canada, Italy, Turkey, Chile and Spain as well as the American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC). After a year’s absence, the Canada Wood pavilion will be back this year, promising to up the ante. Making it’s maiden appearance at both interzum guangzhou and in South China, the Swedish pavilion aims to carve out a market of it’s own with it’s nordic offerings. Visitors who have enjoyed the services provided at the Piazza visitor lounge in International Hall 14.1 will be delighted to know that they can continue to do so this year, enjoying a glass of wine while taking a break from the busy show floor. The Piazza will also be the venue for a series of forward-looking forums and seminars. Officially spearheaded by the organizers, the two forums themed “Material Revolution: Innovative Furniture Components & Raw Materials” and “New Usage Trends of Nature Materials” respectively are expected to provide a platform for professional exchange and cooperation opportunities for exhibitors, trade visitors and industry bodies. Key representatives from leading companies from Belgium, Turkey and the U.S. have been identified as guest speakers to share the latest technology and products in upholstered furniture manufacturing. Polymer-based solutions giant REHAU will also be hosting seminars for four consecutive days at the Piazza. |
