Serhat Duru, Boyçelik International Sales and Marketing Chef, said that IBIA Expo 2024 would be a successful organization like the previous IBIA Expo editions.
Mr. Serhat stated that their expectations from the exhibition are high again and they think that these expectations will be met, and added that it would be appropriate to increase the number of foreign exhibitors in the exhibition compared to previous years and that especially world giant companies will provide a good reference for Turkish companies and the exhibition.
Could you tell us about your general predictions about the fair before IBIA Expo 2024?
IBIA Expo, which is called the mattress and by-products fair, is one of the most important fairs in the sector. I think that the fair, which had a successful performance in 2022-20023, will meet the expectations in 2024. We anticipate that the fair, which will host visitors from many countries of the world, will include many local and foreign sector representatives who produce both mattress manufacturers, mattress materials and mattress machinery. I congratulate Osman Güler, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IBIA Association, and his management team, who are working on the promotion of the fair in international media. I hope that the IBIA Expo fair will bring success to our country and that new connections will be made and will have a positive impact on our exports.
What are your expectations from the fair as Boyçelik?
Our expectations are to expand our market network, find new customers in existing markets and receive orders that will provide foreign currency inflow to our country. I believe that the exhibition will fulfil these expectations. I think that the visitor mass will be productive in terms of both quality and quantity.
Do you have any advice for the fair management or a request from the management?
Wider markets can be addressed with more foreign exhibitors. Increasing the number of foreign exhibitors in the fair and especially the participation of world giant companies in the fair will be a positive reference point for us.
