Berfa Group, which renders its services through sleep products, home textiles, mattresses and the furniture subindustry, received two awards in the Sleep Expo Middle East fair, organized in Dubai in 2020. Therefore, the company’s achievement was recognized internationally. The company received “the mattress of the year” and “material product of the year” awards. Continuing its operations during the pandemic, Berfa exports its well-known and preferred products to 55 countries around the world today.
Berfa Group General Manager Fatih Mutlu highlights that their priority is to please customers with the best prices, quality, delivery and service. Mutlu states that trade has gained momentum with the slowdown in the spread of the pandemic. He shared his recent activities in our interview.
I would like to get information about your activities and products in the mattress industry.
We aim to offer the best service and quality to our valued customers, thanks to Berfa Group’s years of experience. We actively export to more than 55 countries. Offering the best service considering price, quality and deadlines is our number one priority. We produce and supply mattresses, furniture, sleep products and all their semi-finished products and components.
What are your export markets and export targets? What part of your total sales do your export sales include?
For our company,90% of our services are for the export market. We actively export to more than 55 countries including European countries, America, African Countries, the Middle East, India, Russia, Asian Countries and South America Countries. Our goal is to bring our products and service quality to more countries.
What kind of changes have occurred in your export volume during the pandemic period?
Our export market, which was stagnant at the beginning of the pandemic, has gained significant momentum with the relaxation of the pandemic situation. Our company has made our customers gain considerable advantages by increasing its production, services, deadline and supply quality. Our company has offered considerable advantages to our customers with its pricing policy within the scope of long-term business plans. Our export volume has increased. We aim for this trend to continue at the same pace in 2021 as well.
Do you organize fairs abroad and domestically? Can we learn about your plans for 2021?
We hope that 2021 will be better than 2020 and the increasing trade volume will continue in 2021. We are planning our fair and travel according to the pandemic and closely monitoring the situation.
