12th Bed Show performed well

Organized by the industry trade association The National Bed Federation (NBF), The Bed Show 2022, was successfully held at the International Centre, Telford, 20 – 21 September 2022.

Organized by the National Bed Federation (NBF) The Bed Show, is firmly established in the trade calendar as the UK’s biggest bed exhibition. The Bed Show is the only place to see so many UK and Irish bed manufacturers all under one roof, with exhibitors ranging from the biggest brands on the market to small niche players.

The show is firmly established in the trade calendar as the UK’s biggest bed exhibition. Set in the heart of central England at the modern, purpose-built Telford International Centre, the Bed Show has been the place to be for everything and everyone to do with beds with an unprecedented gathering of UK British bed manufacturers and suppliers under one roof.

Exhibitors range from the biggest brands on the market to small niche players. Plus this truly is the Best of British manufacturing – not only do all exhibitors of finished products manufacture in the UK and Eire but they are all compliant with the NBF’s Code of Practice – designed to reassure customers that they can buy safe, clean and honest ‘NBF Approved’ beds with confidence. Both are conditions of NBF membership – and this is a show only for NBF members.

What visitors got to see, all under one roof, were all the latest innovations, offers, promotions, sales support for the UK market – both domestic and contract – in mattresses, divans, beds, bedsteads, futons, sofabeds, folding beds, adjustable beds, headboards and pillows plus textiles, springs, foams, fillings, all manner of bed machinery and other components.

Returning to the Telford International Centre from 20th – 21st September, The Bed Show welcomed more than 1,500 visitors to the show – the only bed-specific exhibition in the UK.

Now in its twelfth year, the show continued to offer its unique mix of British and Irish bed manufacturers and component suppliers. Although exhibitors came predominantly from the UK, several European component suppliers including some Turkish exhibitors also attended what is widely regarded as the bed event of the year.

Visitors had the opportunity to see all the big industry names, such as Airsprung, Breasley, Duvalay, Harrison Spinks, Hypnos, Millbrook Beds, Relyon, Sealy, Silentnight, Sweet Dreams, and Vispring, plus many smaller niche players.

The Supplier Innovation Zone once again hosted a selection of key component suppliers, including Apropa, Boyteks Tekstil, CPS Group, Enkev, Handy, Spinks Components, John Cotton Non-Wovens, Leggett & Platt UK, Maes Mattress Ticking, Mert Makina, GTA Belgium, Rawsons, Recticel, The Vita Group and Wolf Components.

NBF executive director Jessica Alexander said: “This year we finally got back to a more ‘normal’ Bed Show, and all our exhibitors launched exciting new product and marketing developments in Telford.”
