Feltturc Company Owner Mustafa Kiper made statements about export, innovation and production in his interview with Sleeptech magazine.
Kiper expressing that they export to 50 countries and produce felt and wadding for 5 million mattresses worldwide annually, stated that it is their primary duty to contribute to the development of the Turkish economy and that they aim to keep their vision alive by engaging in activities shaping the sector. Mr. Mustafa speaking about the fair to be organized by IBIA, one of the leading organizations in the sector, gave the following statements on the topic: “As the Turkish mattress industry and sub-industry, we represent our country on international platforms. Mr. Mustafa, can we know your company first?
We have been operating in this sector for many years and produce high quality felts and wadding for approximately 5 million mattresses annually at home and abroad.
It is our primary duty to help the economic development of our country and to present our high quality products to foreign markets. In this way, as a company, we have made it our mission to contribute to the economy of our country.
We are trying to keep our vision alive by being involved in all kinds of activities that shape our sector. For this reason, we represent our country on international platforms as the Turkish mattress industry and sub-industry. For this reason, we are one of the founding members of the International Mattress Industry Association. We wholeheartedly support the purpose, work and philosophy of IBIA.
Can you mention your R&D studies and analysis laboratories?
We improve our existing products and offer standard quality to mattress manufacturers. Since our products are recycling products, we continue our R&D activities in this direction.
Which countries do you currently export to?
By using common and effective communication channels and participating in international fairs, we are currently exporting to more than 50 countries. For this reason, we would like to thank our business partners on your behalf.
Which fairs do you attend at home and abroad?
Finally, we attended ISPA, one of the most important international fairs of our industry. Also, in 2022, we will attend the IBIA fair, which we are looking forward to. In addition to these, we are planning to participate in INTERZUM fairs.
Can you mention your short, medium and long term goals?
It aims to produce high quality products, constantly seeking new markets and providing the best service to its existing customers. We want to continue our leadership in the sector in nonwoven products.
