Elektroteks: The Middle East market is an attractive market both for us and for other Turkish firms

Osman Güler, Chairman of the Board of Elektroteks, conveyed his expectations and predictions about the fair to our magazine before the Sleep Expo Middle East Fair.

Mr. Osman stating that the Middle East market is attractive for Turkish companies and Turkish companies already have a considerable area in the Middle East market, expressed that the commercial relations to be established will be fruitful for both other Turkish companies and themselves as Elektroteks. Mr. Osman, as Elektroteks, defined his expectations from the fair as follows; “As Electroteks, our expectation from the fair is to keep our position that guides the sector globally and of course to make progress in the export item. We hope that the fair will be profitable both for us and for Turkish companies.”

How do you expect the Sleep Expo Middle East Fair, which will be held for the 3^rd time this year, to have an impact on the Turkish mattress sector?

The Middle East market is an attractive market both for us and for other Turkish companies. The countries such as Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, especially in the Gulf, are the markets having high levels of development, close relations with the European and US markets, and businessmen with high investment capabilities. Turkish companies that will come to the fair both as exhibitors and visitors like us will return from there with investments or exports. I think that thanks to the commercial relations to be established, both we and other Turkish companies will return from there with profit.

What are your expectations from the Sleep Expo Middle East Fair as a company?

As Elektroteks, our expectation from the fair is to keep our position that guides the sector globally and of course to make progress in the export item. We hope that the fair will be profitable both for us and for Turkish companies.

What kind of an influence do you expect Turkish companies to have in the Middle East market, especially in the UAE, after the fair?

As Turkish companies, we already have a substantial area in the Middle East market. We saw an example of this at the Istanbul Furniture Fair, which we organized in our home. Istanbul Furniture Fair attracted serious visitors especially from Gulf countries. We hope that with the Sleep Expo Middle East Fair, Turkish companies will add new creations and products to the mattress industry in the Gulf countries both in terms of innovation and design, and will further revive the sector in the region.
